1. Will We use will when: 1/ you decide to do something at the time of speaking 2/ we promise something 3/ we offer to do something 4/ we ask somebody to do something for us 5/ we often use will with the phrase: “I think…” It is so hot. I will open the window. I will pay you back on Friday. I will help you with the bags. Will you bring me the book? I think it will be a very hot day today.

2. (to be) going to We use (to be) going to when: 1/ we have already decided to do something 2/ you can see that something is going to happen I am going to spend my holiday in London. He is going to fall.
Going to - grammar (to be) going to + sloveso They are going to buy that new house. Otázku tvoříme přehozením slovesa být s podmětem: Are they going to buy that new house? Zápor tvoříme přidáním not za sloveso být: They are not going to buy that new house.

3. Present continuous We use present continuous when: 1/ we have already arranged to do something (to meet somebody or to go somewhere etc.) Ex: I’m leaving tomorrow. (= I already have a ticket.) I’m meeting my friends on Saturday. (= I’ve called them and invited them for a game of cards.)
Going to or present continuous? Going to - I plan (intend) to do something, but have not arranged yet Present continuous - Action which is already planned, arranged with other people I am going to buy a house one of these days.
4. Present simple The present simple is often used in connection with travel or other activities that involve a schedule (timetable): Ex: The plane to Paris leaves at 17p.m. and arrives at 19.30p.m. The lesson starts at 9 a.m.
