Nature na Gymnáziu a JŠ Svitavy; přibližně na jednu, popřípadě více vyučovacích hodin (pro výklad i opakování – shrnutí učiva). Obsahuje jednak přehled faktografických údajů, tak i anglickou ustálenou terminologii, doplněné o interaktivní cvičení: otázky pro diskuzi. Je primárně zaměřen na dva poslední ročníky gymnázia, i přesto se dá využít i v nižších ročnících osmiletého i čtyřletého studia vcelku nebo jeho jednotlivé části. Science and Technology is like a double-edge sword has both positive and negative sides has improved the quality of life (like food, shelter, clothing, transportation, communication,…) is highly devastating to human life (like weapons, drugs, antibiotics, …) The wrong usage of technology may lead to man´s self-destruction.
What benefits does science bring? increased production and reduced labor higher living standards improvement in the life expectancy of people faster exchange of information more variety and choices
What benefits does science bring? increases our understanding / knowledge of the world shows how the world / universe / natural phenomena work(s) is the most reliable way of showing what is true or false can be applied to make our lives more convenient / better etc..
Technology´s harmful effects environmental pollution depletion of natural resources unemployment undesirable changes in people’s behavioral patterns and values technology-aided communication (less face-to-face interaction, even the way families interact changes) Television, radio, newspapers, the Internet and film can also transmit values and norms and influence or shape attitudes.
