2 ANOTACE Záměrem této sady výukových materiálů s názvem Technical English je ukázat žákům, kteří se v této oblasti vzdělávají, jaký byl vývoj zbraní. Jednotlivé DUMy (prezentace) v této sadě popíší postupně tematické oblasti, které jsou probírány v předmětu Anglický jazyk na naší SŠ. Konkrétně tato prezentace je zaměřena na rozdělení zbraní.

5 DEFINITION OF GUN

6 A gun is an instrument or a device that can be used to hurt people or destroy building.
The gun has to have the maximal hurtful effect. The classification of guns is based on manner of hurtful energy.

7 CLASSIFICATIN OF GUNS

8 The classification is based on the types of the hurtful energy:
cold guns; percussive guns; firearms.

9 COLD WEAPONS

10 The cold weapons are weapons that impact to the animals or people.
The attack is based on the cutting or stubbing by knife blade or axe blade. Examples of cold weapons: dagger, sword, spear, lance or hammer.

11 EXAMPLE OF COLD weaponS - SWORDS

12 percussive WEAPONS The kinetic energy causes the destruction by impact effect. Examples of cold weapons are mace or sledgehammer.

15 Classification firearms by handling
Firearms shoot the project which has got a disruptive effect. The disruptive effect is caused by incident energy. Firearms are classified in according of the source of action. Classification of firearms: mechanical; gas; fire.

16 Handguns are divided into:
handguns (the transmission and control of just one hand) - pistols, revolvers; long arms (long gun is equipped of the butt) shotgun, rifle.

17 Mounted guns are guns that have great weight and must be stored on a mount or a pedestal.
a cannon; a heavy machine guns; a howitzer.

19 Classification firearms by CONSTRUCTION
The classification of firearms is following: a single shot gun – a gun charges is necessary; a pump gun – a gun has got a clip; a self-loading gun – a gun is charging automatically.

21 Automatic firearms An automatic firearm is a gun that uses energy of powder gasses to charge of the gun and its shoot. Automatic firearms are: a semiautomatic guns; a self-loading guns; an automatic guns.

25 Weapons are classified to cold guns, mounted guns and firearms.
Short guns are controll by one hand. Long guns have got a gun-stock. Automatic firearms can shoot and charge a projectile at the same time.
