2 Anotace Téma oblíbené především u dívek se zabývá současnými módními trendy, jejich oblíbeností u dané věkové skupiny. Hovoříme o stylu nebo spíš jeho hledání, extravaganci, barevné kombinovatelnosti, různých stylech – formálních a neformálních, zábavných či vážných, mladistvých či staromódních. Probereme zdroje módních trendů a jejich sledovatelnost v médiích, časopisech a televizi. Neopomeneme zmínit známé módní značky a jejich vliv na úspěšnost na trhu i o povrchnosti, kterou může vyvolat rčení „Šaty dělají člověka“. Metodický pokyn Student se seznamuje se specifickou slovní zásobou a s tématem souvisejícími frázemi, rozvíjí už osvojené gramatické struktury. Pokročilejší řeší diskutabilní problémy a navrhují řešení. Student si osvojuje reálie anglicky mluvících zemí a dokáže definovat specifičnost daného tématu.
