Nové Dvory Bridge
The iron bridge over the River Jihlava in Nové Dvory neighbourhood was built in 1874 at the same time as Podklášterský Bridge. Previous wooden bridge was based on two pillars made of stone. In 1862 the previous wooden bridge was destroyed in a flood. Podklašterský Bridge was also destroyed.
● In 1924 a current iron-concrete bridge with one pillar in the middle was finished. ● It was named after an important Czech composer Bedřich Smetana The Smetana Bridge.
