What are the advantages and the disadvantages of shopping a small local shop? + In a small local shop or stand the shopkeeper himself assist us. + The shopping is very quick. - There isn´t so big choice if goods. - The price is usually higher than in a department store.
Can you describe the routine of shopping? What do you do in a shop? We go to the shop and pick up a basket or a trolley. We walk around the shop and choose what we want. If we have everything what we need we go to the cash-desk/counter. We pay for all our goods and pack our shopping.
How can people pay for their goods? What are ways of paying? There are two ways of paying - we can pay cash or by credit card or cheques. We pay cash for smaller purchase, if we buy for example newspapers or rolls. We pay by credit card if we do a bigger shopping. Today, people pay by credit card very often, it’s quite comfortable.

What do you think about internet shopping? Nowadays a lot of people do their shopping on line. They order their goods from a website and have them delivered.

How often do you go shopping? What are things you buy most often? Examples of answers: I go shopping for food with my mum every Friday. When I need something to school, I go shopping to stationary. I like shopping in small shop and I prefer paying cash.

I love shopping, especially in big shopping centres. My most favourite shops are bookshops and shops with electronics.
