3 Anotace: Pracovní list slouží k vysvětlení (zopakování) použití přítomného času průběhového (Present Continuous) a přítomného času prostého (Present Simple) pro vyjádření budoucnosti, jejich procvičení a upevnění správného užití. Metodické pokyny: Nejprve jsou žáci seznámeni s typickým užitím těchto dvou přítomných časů pro vyjádření budoucnosti, poté mají příležitost si užití upevnit za pomoci překladů, na konec je zařazena hra.

4 Present Continuous for the future We use Present Continuous for talking about things that we have already decided to do before the time of speaking and we have already arranged (domluvili, dojednali, zařídili) it. These are typically things that people write in their diaries I am having dinner with Broňa tomorrow at 6 pm. (We both know about it and we have reserved a table.) Tom is seeing his dentist tomorrow morning. (They both know about it and agreed on the time.)

5 Present Simple for the future We use Present Simple for talking about future events or actions that are not only planned but they are also written somewhere with the time of happening – in other words typically timetables and schedules (e.g. timetables for public transport, theatre or cinema programme, timetables for lectures or conferences). The train to London leaves at 7:15 am. (The train and the time is written in the timetable.) This lesson ends at 12:00 o'clock (It is written in the school timetable.)

8 Present Continuous and Present Simple for expressing the future – What is your plan for Friday evening game 1) First think about what you are going to do on Friday evening 2) Then take a piece of paper and write there names of all your classmates (except you) 3) When you hear that you can start your task is to walk around the class and ask all your classmates what they are doing on Friday evening and then write it on your paper. 4) The first three people who will find out the answers from all people in the class are the winners!
