3 SCREW / BOLT CONNECTIONS  Screw & Bolt connections belong to demountable connections with shaped contact  Screws are most often used machine components.  They are common structural components, their usage is large and thanks to screws, nuts, washers…they are standardized and that is why they can be changed.

4 BASIC KINDS OF BOLT CONNECTIONS By nut and bolt By embeded bolt By studs

5 NUT BOLTS Connected components are forced to each other by bolt head and nut.

6 STUDS Connected components are forced to each other by nut and thread screw component, spring washer prevents screw loosening.

7 EMBEDED SCREWS Connected components are forced to each other by conical head and threaded screw component.

8 SCREW CONNECTIONS´ SECURITY Screw connection can be loosen during operation consequently with printing of bearing surfaces or by the influence of dynamic stress and its function can be lost. That is why screw connection is secured. Security can be made by shape or power contact with secure element, alternatively by material contact.
