8 Tourism A number of natural, cultural, architectural and historical sights. The highest mountain range, castles and chateaus Tourist come from all parts of the country and from abroad, mostly from Germany, Poland and Nederland. Urban tourism, hiking, cycling thanks to an existence of network of paths and cycling routes. Winter sport activities in some well equipped mountainous resorts. Nepřeberné množství přírodních, kulturních, architektonických a historických památek. Nejvyšší pohoří, Hrady, zámky (Kost, Hrádek u Nechanic, Kuks, Opočno,…), aktivní dovolená, atd. Turisté ze všech koutů tuzemska a zahraničí – Němci, Poláci, Holanďané. Městská, pěší turistika a cykloturistika díky existenci sítě pěších stezek a cyklostezek, zimní sporty v kvalitně vybavených střediscích hor.

9 Transportation Doprava The region occupies an strategic location regarding the important transeuropean rout Paris – Nuremberg – Prague – Hradec Králové – Warsaw – Moscow. The D11 highway is to be finished until next year. The region also has a sufficient railway network. The development of transport infrastructure is one of the main priorities of the region. Kraj zaujímá strategickou polohu vzhledem k tomu, že leží na významné evropské trase Paříž – Norimberk – Praha – HK – Varšava – Moskva. Dálnice D11 dokončena příští rok. Kraj disponuje dostatečně hustou železniční sítí. Rozvoj dopravní infrastruktury je jednou z hlavních priorit našeho kraje.

15 The Náchod Municipality II General interest – in some integrated projects in order to exchange experience with foreign partners in the fields of management training, education and developing common tools for promoting tourism in the town and its surroundings – particular goal is to find ways how to reopened already closed spa.
