9 THANKSGIVING DAY Thanksgiving is an American celebration which is celebrated at the end of November. It commemorates the first English colonists Pilgrim Fathers who sailed to America in 1620. There was no food and cruel winter and conditions. Luckily, Indians helped them. The Puritans wanted to thank them and invited them for a dinner.

Typickou večeří Dne Díkůvzdání je pečený krocan s nádivkou, brusinková omáčka a dýňový koláč.
