3 English Breakfast English Breakfast Breakfast often begins with glass of orange juice but raraly with porridge or cereals. Next comes something cooked, boiled or fried: bacon and eggs, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, fish or toast with butter and jam. Very favourite is tea. It is drunk with milk.

4 Main meals and soups Main meals and soups Hors D´oeuvres start mostly with fish or meat and sliced hard-boiled eggs with lots of vegetables or fruits. The English are fond of fish soups or vegetable soups. Typical English soups are tomato soup or cream of tomato, cream of pea, fish or mushroom soup.
