Omnivores Because they eat plants and animals, they survive well in many environments. In other words, omnivores are plant and meat eaters. Omnivores include: mammals (bear, skunk, pig, hedgehog) birds (crow, woodpecker) some reptiles (lizards, turtles ) + fish, etc.. A raccoon eats almost anything including berries, acorns, baby mice, baby birds and eggs, frogs, fish and even some snakes.

Carnivores Animals that eat animal flesh / meat. In other words, carnivores are meat eaters. Examples: dogs, cats, lions, tigers, sharks, snakes, eagles, frogs, … Lions eat animals such as gazelles, antelopes and zebras. Eagles eat fish, mammals, birds, and snakes. Wolves eat deer, fish, mice, moose, birds and other herbivores. Frogs eat insects, earthworms and spiders.

Herbivores Animals that eat only plants. In other words, herbivores are plant eaters. Examples: Cows eat grass and hay. Rhinos eat grass, leaves, twigs and shrubs. Deer eat corn, twigs, acorns, fruit, berries and green plants. Rabbits eat grass, weeds, leaves, shoots, twigs and bark.
