Banshee

A Banshee is beautiful robed women whose cries fortell death, although they themselves do not kill. Typically, banshees only wail in advance of the deaths of a powerful or holy person. They were sometimes revealed to be the Morrígan, the Irish battle-goddess, and modern banshees are usually associated with murder.

Leprechaun

A type of fairy, usually taking the form of an old man, dressed in a red or green coat, who enjoys mischief. They spend all their time making shoes, and storing all their coins in a hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. If ever captured by a human, the Leprechaun has the magical power to grant three wishes in exchange for their release.

Kelpie

A Kelpie appears to be a beautiful lost horse, wet with cold skin. It uses its beauty to lure people, and especially children, into riding it. Once it has gained an unsuspecting rider, its skin becomes adhesive and it immediately jumps into the nearest pond or lake, intending to drown its terrified passenger.
