Obsahuje základní životopisné údaje o daném autorovi a jeho díle. Osvojené znalosti jsou ověřovány pomocí opravy chybných tvrzení o autorovi a jeho díle. Materiál je primárně zaměřen na dva poslední ročníky gymnázia, i přesto se dá využít i v nižších ročnících osmiletého i čtyřletého studia vcelku nebo jeho jednotlivé části. The Hobbit a hobbit Bilbo Baggins is persuaded by the wizard Gandalf to leave his comfortable life and seek adventure with him and a group of dwarves. Bilbo should became a kind of burglar and help the dwarves regain their treasure kept by the terrifying dragon called Smaug on their journey to the dragon, they experience a lot of adventures: fight with nocturnal trolls, giant spiders, wood elves etc. when the group get to the mountain, Bilbo sneaks inside and steals a golden cup from the dragon΄s treasure
The Hobbit in rage the dragon burns the Lake Town to the ground and the humans demand their share of the treasure as a compensation the greedy dwarves refuse, which results in a military conflict eventually, the humans and goblins have to band together to defeat the evil goblin army after the battle, Bilbo returns to his Hobbiton and feels happy to live his comfortable and trouble-free life again.
