PROVERBS II Lenka Kulhavá
MM No news is good news. The only way to understand is to do it. Misery loves company. Troubles don´t come alone. People who are unhappy bring down people who are happy. You can´t have your cake and eat it too. It´ s better to have no news than bad ones. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Nothing is only good or bad, there are two sides of everything. There are two sides to every coin. You can ´t have everything that you want. Everyone receives something by losing something. MATCH THE PROVERBS WITH THE EXPLANATIONS:
You can´t make a silk purse out of a sow ´s ear. People usually think that their neighbours have all things better. It´s an ill wind that blows no good. No connection with money. The person who shouts for help gets it. The squeaky weel gets the grease. Don ´t listen to bad news from angry people. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Do all things in right time, not late. Don ´t procrastinate! Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today. You can only make silk things out of silk. MATCH THE PROVERBS WITH THE EXPLANATIONS:
