2 Anotace: Výukový materiál je určen pro žáky 7. ročníku. Jedná se o kvízové otázky, pomocí kterých si žáci procvičují porozumění. Není ani tak důležité, jestli správně odpoví, jak to, zda otázce rozumí. Kvíz navozuje soutěživou atmosféru, protože žáci na konci kvízu zjistí, jak jsou na tom se znalostmi a zda by se vůbec někdy v budoucnu mohli účastnit televizní show jako je Milionář atd. VM je doplňujícím materiálem ke knížce Project 2, lekce 1. Pilotáž: Výukový materiál byl použit v hodinách anglického jazyka ve třídách 7. ročníku. Žáci si procvičili porozumění otázkám položeným v kvízu a zároveň si rozšířili slovní zásobu o slovíčka (mermaid, emerald, water lilies, precious, connect, consider, Venice, Copenhagen, Greenland, Iceland…). Sir Joseph Wilson Swan produced an early electric lightbulb in 1860. Lewis Howard Latimer iproved the bulb by inventing a carbon filament.
