WIND-MILL Three-floor building was constructed in 1836 by Budichowski brothers. It stands in Borovina town quarter. Originally it should have been wooden, in the end it was built from stones and bricks. Tower diameter is 8 m and blunted cone tower was toped with a pointed shingel roof. Machine room was lighted through three or four windows on each floor. The wind-mill served for grinding pine-bork. It was used for producing tan-bark for tanning.

Tanning was one of the most expanded trade in Třebíč in the second half of the 19 th century. Wind-mill operating was stoped at the end of the 19 th century ( that time all equipment was taken out). The wind-mill served as a flat in years 1929 – 1977. General reconstruction was made in 1977 and new metal decorated windmill-wheel was even installed. Nowadays the building of wind-mill is closed and unoccupied. New project which allows it to work again is searched. The contemporary shape of the wind-mill is almost identical to its original form.
