Integrated voice, video and Web setup, notify & attend Scheduling and attending of Lotus Sametime web conferences with Cisco Unified MeetingPlace audio from Lotus Notes calendar Available Now with Cisco Unified MeetingPlace For several years Cisco and IBM have had the ability to schedule Cisco MeetingPlace audio and web from the Lotus Notes calendar. The latest release of this integration offers the ability to schedule Lotus Sametime web with Cisco MeetingPlace audio. For this scenario, a user will schedule a meeting by first selecting ‘online meeting’ for Lotus Sametime web, and then adding Cisco Meetingplace Audio, by selecting “Yes, create a new meeting” Note: The administrator will choose whether ALL users will be using Lotus Sametime Web with MeetingPlace audio. OR ALL users will be using MeetingPlace Web and MeetingPlace Audio (and video). Admin’s choice, not the users choice. What Are the Prerequisites? Multiple methods for click-to-call using Cisco Unified Communications Manager Available now from Lotus Sametime Plug-in catalog and Cisco web site This plug-in provides an integration between the Lotus Sametime client and Cisco Unified Communications Manager. A call can be directly initiated to entries in the contact list through several different methods, each straight forward in nature. Note that the calling function is independent of a Sametime IM session and launched directly from the main contact list. What Are the Prerequisites? Lotus Sametime Access to Cisco Unity Voicemail
View, play, and manage voice messages Available now from Lotus Sametime Plug-in catalog and Cisco web site Through this offering, Lotus Sametime users will be able to view and play Cisco Unity voice messages from their Lotus Sametime client. The user will also be able to manage their voic , deleting, or marketing as new or read the entries in the list. This action is coordinated through the voic system, so marking a message as “new” would light the message waiting indicator on your phone, for example. This plug-in will be available free of charge to Lotus Sametime and Cisco customers on the Lotus Sametime plug-in catalog or the Cisco web site. What Are the Prerequisites?
