5 POZOR NA ZMĚNY PRAVOPISU
BIG – BIGGER – THE BIGGEST K jaké změně došlo? FUNNY – FUNNIER – THE FUNNIEST Ke zdvojování dochází u jednoslabičných přídavných jmen, která končí na souhlásku. Tato souhláska musí následovat po krátké samohlásce (např. BIG, THIN). 2) U slov končících na -y, před kterým je souhláska (funny, dry apod.), dochází ke změkčení tohoto -y (funnier, funniest).
