Obsahuje jednak přehled faktografických údajů, tak i anglickou ustálenou terminologii, doplněné o interaktivní cvičení: otázky a samostatný ústní projev Je primárně zaměřen na dva poslední ročníky gymnázia, i přesto se dá využít i v nižších ročnících osmiletého i čtyřletého studia vcelku nebo jeho jednotlivé části Pomůcky: interaktivní tabule, internet

3 How do the fashions develop?
fashion has developed a lot througout the centuries and the trends in fashion have been changing fashions are tolerant and they do not prevent anyone from wearing anything as everyone can wear what they like and what they feel suit them

4 What does it mean to have one´s own style?
some people think and find very important to have and wear expensive brands of clothes. what is even more important is that everyone should find his/her own style in other words it means that you should know what looks good on you, which colour and cut go with your figure and what colours and patterns can be combined what is even more, you should be happy about what you wear and you should feel comfortable

5 Is fashion only about clothes?
fashion does not include only clothes, but also hairstyle, make-up and accessories. These include shoes, handbags, gloves, belts, scarves, hats, caps, jewellery (rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants ..), sunglasses and even umbrellas.

6 What hair and hairstyles can people have?
hair is: straight, wavy, curly hairs are = chlupy jsou! different hairstyles suit different faces women like wearing hair in a bun, flowing or blow-dried, small girls wear plaits (cop), pigtails (copy) with ribbons or ponytails. Some people have a hairdo with a fringe and a parting. Some teenagers like wearing dreadlocks men can have a beard, moustache or are clean-shaved

8 What do children usually wear to school?
children should wear something comfortable to school, but sometimes they do not it is advisable to wear e.g. trousers, jeans, shorts, skirts, T-shirts, shirts etc. students in Britain must wear uniforms to school

9 What do adults usually wear to work?
What adults wear to work depend on their job. There are differences between white-collar and blue-collar workers blue-collar workers usually wear uniforms, boiler suits or overalls on the other hand, white-collar workers usually wear a suit that includes a shirt, a tie or a bowtie or a suit that includes a skirt or a blouse

10 What clothes do people have for sports?
in general, people wear something comfortable and loose that enables our body to move freely, e.g. cotton T-shirts, sweatshirts, tracksuits. We also need some trainers as well what we wear also depends on a type of sport, e.g. we wear a wetsuit for diving, ski suit for skiing

11 What is festive clothing?
if we go to the theatre, a ball, a wedding reception or graduation ceremony, we need to wear elegant clothes men usually put on a dark pair of socks, a shirt with a tie or a bowtie that matches the shirt, a waistcoat and a jacket. ladies wear a dress, a blouse and a skirt, or a suit or a trouser suit.

13 How does weather influence what to wear?
what we wear also depend on the season of the year. People wear different clothes in summer, e.g. shorts, skirts, short-sleeved shirts, swimsuit, sandals, flip-flops or slip-on shoes etc. while in winter people wear pullovers, winter jackets, coats, furs, scarves, gloves, mittens, caps if it is rainy, we usually wear waterproof jackets or anoraks, raincoats or umbrellas. We can also wear Wellington boots as well.

Have you got this shirt in different colour/size? It´s too expensive. Have you got something less expensive? I don't have enough money. Could you keep it for me till tomorrow? Can I pay by credit card? I´ll take it.

What clothes do you wear at home? Do you have your own style? What do you wear? Are the latest trends in fashion important to you? What hair and hairstyle do you have? Do you buy your clothes online on the Internet or in the stone shops? Why? +/- What is your attitude to fashion? Do you buy brand name products?
