Metodický pokyn Prezentace je určena jako východisko i obohacení výkladu a práce s textem, podpora samostatné práce dvojic u PC i domácího studia např. formou pracovního listu podle uvedených pokynů. Most of his poetry (Tamar, Roan Stallion, Cawdor, …) was written in classic narrative and epic form (based on an account of events). His poems prove why he is considered an icon of the environmental movement (- he clearly prefers the natural world over what he sees as the negative influence of civilization). He was famous as a man with strong ties to the wildlife. With his family he lived in solitude in a granite house which he had built himself and called ‘Tor House and Hawk Tower‘ (in Carmel, California, a gift to his wife Una admiring Irish literature and stone towers).

Vy ho neznáte, lidé pospolitosti, neboť jste na něho zapomněli; ale nezkrotný a divoký jestřáb se na něho rozpomíná: nádherní a krásní jestřábi a také lidé, když umírají, se na něho rozpomínají. Spíše bych, nebýt to zločin, zabil člověka než jestřába; tomuto obru s narudlým ocasem nezbylo však nic krom bezmocné bídy – s nevyléčitelně roztříštěnou kostí a s křídlem vláčeným pod ostrými drápy při každém kroku.

Anglický jazyk a seminář anglické konverzace ve 4. ročníku a oktávě všeobecného gymnázia Metodický pokyn Tato prezentace je určena pro použití ve vyučovací hodině, pro samostatnou práci dvojic u PC i pro samostatné domácí studium prostřednictvím pracovního listu - jako doplněk výkladu či opakování tematických okruhů k maturitní zkoušce na všeobecném gymnáziu. Kromě uvedeného lexikálního cvičení – doplňování vhodných výrazů – a cvičení čtení s porozuměním nabízí rozšíření povědomí o osobnostech literatury anglicky mluvících zemí a o různých aspektech historie a kultury v těchto zemích. Především pak poskytuje možnost seznámit se v ukázkách se stylem psaní daného autora. Vybízí též k aktivní práci s textem ve formě překladu do češtiny a porovnání s uměleckým překladem či převedení do dnešní podoby angličtiny. Je užitečné, předchází-li jednotlivým aktivitám brainstorming – umožňuje ověřit, co žáci již znají, nabídnout, co mohou očekávat, podpořit kreativitu, soutěživost a týmovou práci. Obrázků lze využít nejen k ilustraci daného jevu, ale také k popisu a porovnání.
