Train ticket Vltava Dunaj (Donau Moldau) – 350 Kč with In-karta (in25) (500 Kč/year) 4 days valid return ticket Only in České Budějovice Train from Linz – Vorteils card (20€) 7,20€ + 65 Kč (with In-karta) Bus from České Budějovice (Linz) – faster than train 16 € 9€ if bought in advance Also from Prague to Linz 9€ (bought in advance)

5 Through the Linz Tram 1 or 2 from the train station – direction university Active pass For free in ÖH Bürgerservice – At campus Monatskarte – 10 € Hauptwohnzitz – necessary for activepass – however there are some documents to fill in in the rathaus

8 ETCS credits 180 ETCS for bachelor curricullum
120 from Linz and 60 from Budějovice You cannot transfer ETCS from Linz to Budějovice and vice versa Approximately 30 ETCS per semester

9 Study plan – in Linz – winter semester
Introduction I to General Chemistry – really important pass – to get to laboratory – exam after 3 weeks!!!!!!!! First week or 2 is taught only this subject Chemical Calculations – Lectures + Exercises General and Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory of General Chemistry – 5 blocks – for each you write a test Important to pass Introduction to Analytical laboratory – necessary to pass to get to next laboratories

11 Sport & Entertainment No ETCS in Linz
Many sports on usi.jku.at – approximately 14 € for semester ETCS from sports in Budějovice do not count to the total 180 Menzafest and other parties in Lui – bar under Menza Do not party before you pass the first test (just an advice)

12 Food Menza in Linz – approximately 5€ for menu
Choice – more to choose – more expansive (usually) Buy food in markets and bring it with you – cheapest
