Srozumitelnou a zábavnou formou seznamuje studenty s Kanadou, její historií, kulturou, přírodou a zajímavými místy. Metodický pokyn Tento DUM je určen především jako výkladový materiál. Slouží hlavně k frontální výuce, ale studenti mají možnost se aktivně zapojovat a zužitkovat své předchozí znalosti. V následujícím DUMu se nacházejí praktická cvičení, ve kterých si mohou studenti ověřit své znalosti z (nejen) tohoto DUMu.
