Srozumitelnou a zábavnou formou seznamuje studenty se Spojenými státy americkými, především s jejich historií, kulturou a politikou. Metodický pokyn V první části DUMu, která je vedena výkladovou formou, jsou studenti seznámeni se základními informacemi o USA. V druhé části si studenti mohou ověřit získané znalosti v interaktivních cvičeních.
